Game Info Hub

World of Slime is a casual adventure MMORPG by TEAM42. The Windows Steam demo opened on 26 August 2026. The full client is still scheduled for December 2026 on PC, Mac, and mobile. This hub collects the factual pages — release timeline, platforms, system requirements, and frequently asked questions — so those four facts do not drift apart.

Release date and timeline

The public demo is a Windows PC Steam preview (app 4793900). The full game is app 4671450. Official sites still print December 2026; Steam still shows Q4 2026. Both are true: December sits inside Q4. Pre-orders are not open. Wishlist the full Steam page if you want a launch ping. Mobile pre-registration is November 2026, the same month as G-STAR in Busan. PlayX4 in May 2026 was the first hall appearance. None of those dates turn the Windows demo into a live-service save.

Platforms and accessibility

Steam lists full controller support and DualSense on PC. That is a pad on a computer, not a PlayStation SKU. No console version is announced. iOS and Android are part of the December plan, not this demo. Cross-play between PC and mobile is the stated design for the full launch. TEAM42 has not published the account-linking flowchart or a Cloud-save merge rule. The live demo cannot be joined from a phone. Store input flags — Camera Comfort, Custom Volume, Touch Only, Save Anytime — live on the accessibility page. Do not invent a colour-blind PDF from this hub.

System requirements

Steam’s published PC minimum is Windows 10, Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 960, and 20 GB free. Recommended specs are still blank on the store. Mac support is planned for the December Steam client, not this Windows demo. The longer quote of those store lines sits on system requirements.

Game model and monetisation

World of Slime is free-to-play with no gacha. Slimes come from Cubes, synthesis, and fishing. Monetisation is described as cosmetics and convenience, not pay-to-win creature banners. Read monetisation for the longer version. There is no subscription SKU in the public plan.

Official resources

The marketing site is worldofsli.me. Steam News is the durable log. Discord Explorer is advertised on the official site. This wiki is a fan resource — see community. There is no official public Trello. Studio contacts on the site and Steam include TEAM42 in Seoul.

New player checklist

Besides the pages above: download the demo if you have Windows, reserve a nickname while the preview crowd is small, read accessibility for DualSense / Camera Comfort / Touch Only, and mobile for November pre-registration. TEAM42’s design letters live on Dev Notes.

No gacha

TEAM42 removed randomised creature banners. Read the monetisation page for cosmetics versus convenience, the roadmap for December 2026 versus the 26 August Windows demo, plus wishlist, cross-play, and community directories.

Reception, languages, and AI disclosure

Three questions arrived with the demo and none of them fit the pages above. The Steam review summary is Mixed, the store lists eighteen interface languages, and TEAM42 filled in Steam’s AI content disclosure — all three drive searches and all three deserve a straight answer.

  • Demo Reception — what reviewers praise, what they criticise, and whether to wait for December
  • Languages — the full eighteen-language list, how to switch on Steam, and translation quality
  • AI Disclosure — exactly what TEAM42 declared about assisted art and translation

For the in-game friction those reviews describe, the stamina system and movement guides explain the mechanics behind the complaints, and troubleshooting covers the technical faults.
