World of Slime PlayX4, Steam Spotlight, and G-STAR Busan

Hands-on booths, a wishlist surge after the demo, and the next public handshake in November 2026.

Last updated:

Events — PlayX4, Noecheon Village, G-STAR, and Steam

TEAM42 is meeting players in halls as much as on Steam. If you search “World of Slime PlayX4” or “G-STAR slime,” this is the dated list. Marketing trailers belong on the demo guide and wishlist pages. Here we keep the calendar of public appearances and the Steam visibility spike that followed 26 August 2026.

May 2026 — PlayX4 at KINTEX

World of Slime’s first real crowd was PlayX4 2026 at KINTEX, starting 21 May. Enduins and Inven describe a booth built around the game’s mood, not a TV on a stick. Visitors could walk a Slime Synthesis Lab modelled on an in-game space and try fusion with their hands. A Slime Collection Tournament scored demo play; high collection scores were in the running for hardware such as an LG Gram AI Pro laptop. That is the origin of the “capture, fuse, grow” message. The July gameplay trailer later added the MMO half: riding, fishing, cooperative bosses. If someone tells you the game was always a PvP title, send them back to May.

PlayX4 also ran a Korea-side “news signup” raffle (21–24 May) with Google Play credit. That campaign is closed. Do not hunt expired raffle forms.

July 2026 — Gameplay trailer and global pitch

The English gameplay trailer (reuploaded by GameTrailers as the July clip many Western players saw) is the clip that sold co-op hunts and life skills. Inven says the footage moved through Reddit and Twitter into Steam and Discord traffic, with interest cited in the United States, Brazil, and Indonesia. Cross-play between PC and mobile was already the winter 2026 sentence. Use that trailer to explain the game to a friend; use this page to explain where TEAM42 stood on a stage.

26 August 2026 — Demo live and Steam MMORPG row

The Windows Steam demo (app 4793900) opened 26 August 2026. GameChosun reported the same day that early traffic and wishlists climbed after Steam placed the title in the MMORPG recommended row. Pre-demo press had already cited more than 14,000 wishlists. The demo is the event that never closes until TEAM42 takes it down: nickname reservation, first-area capture, Cubes, synthesis, fishing, and online 1v1–3v3 practice. Progress wipes. Treat the installer as a booth you can reopen at home.

Korean coverage repeats the studio line: gather feedback from this preview and polish toward official service. There is no second announced demo patch as of this writing. If a hotfix lands, it will appear on Steam News and on the Updates hub before it appears here as a dated bullet.

September 2026 — Noecheon Village announced

On 9 September 2026, TEAM42 announced that Noecheon Village opens in early October 2026 — the first major in-game expansion following the August demo launch. The announcement came via Instagram, Steam Community, and the official worldofsli.me site. The village is described as a hub that reflects the valuable feedback shared by the demo community.

Noecheon Village adds a new settlement area where players can access additional NPCs, quests, and potentially new slime habitats. TEAM42 stated it has been carefully reviewing player feedback from the demo period and implementing improvements based on community input. The opening marks the first concrete step in expanding the game world beyond what was available in the August demo.

The 22 September Chuseok post showed Noecheon Village characters early, confirming the area is actively developed. Players should watch the official Steam Community posts and worldofsli.me for specific details on gameplay additions, capture opportunities, and synthesis options as October approaches.

November 2026 — G-STAR Busan and mobile pre-registration

TEAM42 promised a face-to-face at G-STAR in Busan in November 2026 — more detail, not a second PlayX4 recap. The same month, mobile pre-registration is scheduled to open. There is no App Store or Play listing yet. Do not sideload APKs. When the official store pages exist, the roadmap and wishlist pages will link them. Booth hours, ticket info, and photo rules will come from G-STAR and TEAM42, not from this wiki inventing a queue time.

December 2026 — Launch is the last “event”

The PC plus mobile launch is the destination, not a convention. Cross-play is the design so a phone party can meet a Steam party. Cosmetics and convenience purchases are expected then; the demo shop is empty. See monetisation and cross-play.

How to show up without a plane ticket

  1. Wishlist app 4671450 and install the Windows demo.
  2. Join Discord from worldofsli.me for the Explorer role — the community page lists channels.
  3. Watch Steam News during G-STAR week instead of random booth leaks.
  4. Ignore “World of Slime scripts” sites. This is not Roblox.

If a new expo is announced after G-STAR, it lands on this page with a date and a source. Until then, PlayX4 is history, the demo is the living booth, and Busan is the next handshake.
