World of Slime Wishlist, Pre-Register, and Claim a Nickname

World of Slime is still heading for a December 2026 launch, but three real actions are already available: add the Steam store page to your wishlist, play the Windows demo and reserve a nickname, and watch for mobile pre-registration in November. This page is the checklist so you do not mix those three dates.

Wishlist on Steam (do this today)

The full game lives at Steam app 4671450. The demo is a separate app (4793900) that opened on 26 August 2026 for Windows PC. Wishlist the full game, not only the demo, if you want a launch-day ping when December arrives. TEAM42 and Korean press reported more than 14,000 wishlists before the demo; GameChosun later wrote that the list kept climbing after Steam put the title in the MMORPG recommended row. A wishlist does not cost money. It tells Steam you care and it tells the studio the audience is still here.

Open World of Slime on Steam, sign in, click Wishlist. If you also want the demo in your library, install the demo from its own store page. Demo progress does not carry into the full client — see the demo guide — but the nickname you grab now is the social reason to log in this week.

Nickname reservation in the demo

GameChosun’s 26 August 2026 report is explicit: demo players can stake a nickname ahead of the official service. That is not a cosmetic title. In an MMO, the name you walk around with is the one friends search. If a string you love is still free, take it while the population is a preview crowd rather than a December launch queue. The demo is Windows Steam only. Mac and phones are not in this build. You still need an internet connection; World of Slime is an online MMORPG, not an offline collector.

Use the Getting Started loop after you name yourself: talk to the starting village, land a first Cube capture, open the Slimepedia. The name is the social handle; the slime is the actual save you will rebuild in December.

Mobile pre-registration (November 2026)

TEAM42’s public roadmap is consistent across Inven, Gamemeca, and Enduins: Steam demo in August, mobile pre-registration in November, simultaneous PC and mobile launch in December. Pre-registration is not live on the App Store or Google Play as of late August 2026. Do not trust third-party APKs. When the official listing opens, this wiki will link it from the roadmap. Until then, the only sanctioned mobile step is to follow TEAM42’s channels so you see the store page on day one.

Cross-play between PC and mobile is the stated design for the full launch, not for this Windows demo. If you plan to main a phone in December, still wishlist Steam now so you own the PC half of the same community. Details of account linking have not been published as a technical FAQ; do not assume a Steam login on iOS until TEAM42 shows the flow. Read cross-play for what is confirmed versus guessed.

Official site and Discord

worldofsli.me is the marketing home: trailer, biome pitch (forest, mountain, graveyard), and the Discord invite that grants a pre-launch Explorer role. That role is the other “reservation” besides your in-game nickname. Steam News and Discord are where TEAM42 said they will keep posting development notes through G-STAR in Busan this November. What wishlisting does not do

Wishlisting does not buy a founder pack. There is no gacha. It does not unlock Mac or mobile in the current demo. It does not transfer Slimepedia pages into the December build. It does not replace playing: if you care about 1v1 and 3v3 spacing, you still need hours in the Windows client. Treat the list as a reminder and a signal, then spend the real time on capture, synthesis, and NPC errands.

Practical order of operations

1. Wishlist app 4671450 on Steam.
2. Install the Windows demo and claim a nickname you can live with for years.
3. Join Discord for the Explorer role and G-STAR news.
4. Wait for November mobile pre-registration from official stores only.
5. Come back here if any of those dates move — we update from TEAM42, not from rumour threads.

The December 2026 PC plus mobile launch is still the destination. August is for names, lists, and learning Cubes. November is for phones. Do not skip the list because the demo already feels like the game; the demo is a preview with a wipe.
