Where the World of Slime Community Actually Lives
Official site, Discord Explorer role, Steam News, and the studio behind Mafia42.
World of Slime is still a pre-launch MMO, so the useful “wiki” of rumours is smaller than the useful list of official rooms. TEAM42 asked players to join Discord for a pre-launch Explorer role, to wishlist Steam, and to watch G-STAR in November. This page is that list, with enough studio context that you know who is talking.
Official website
worldofsli.me is the English marketing site. The Korean sister page lives at the same domain. It carries the December 2026 line, the chewy-partner pitch, Slimepedia language, 1v1-to-3v3 PvP, and the biome trio of forest, mountain, and graveyard. It also hosts the Steam wishlist button and the Discord invite. Treat it as the source of tone. Treat Steam as the source of system requirements and store flags. This wiki cites both and does not invent a third “leaked roadmap.”
Studio contact on the site footer includes TEAM42’s Seoul address (SNU Scholarship Building, Mapo-gu) and pbu@team42.co.kr. Steam support lists apply@team42.co.kr and team42.co.kr. Use those for press and account issues, not for asking this fan wiki to reset a password.
Discord and the Explorer role
The official site’s call to action is blunt: join Discord and secure a pre-launch Explorer role. Inven’s trailer coverage says the studio will keep posting behind-the-scenes notes and pre-launch info on official channels, Discord included. That is the fastest place to hear if a demo hotfix lands, if G-STAR booth hours change, or if November pre-registration opens a day early. This wiki is not affiliated with TEAM42. We mirror confirmed news; we do not operate the server.
When you join, set a display name that matches the nickname you reserved in the Windows demo. Friends will search one string in Discord and another in-game if you treat them as unrelated jokes.
Steam hub and News
The full game page is store.steampowered.com/app/4671450. The demo is app 4793900. After the 26 August 2026 launch, GameChosun reported that Steam’s MMORPG recommended row helped the wishlist climb. Steam News is still the durable log if a Discord pin gets overwritten. Wishlist the full app even if you already installed the demo — see wishlist.
The store page is also where languages, DualSense-on-PC, Touch Only, and age ratings (Germany 12, Brazil 14, Indonesia 18 on the API dump) live. Do not argue ratings from a TikTok overlay; argue from Steam.
Social accounts
Press quotes the English Twitter/X account @worldofslime_en. TEAM42’s older identity is the studio behind Mafia42, with CEO Na Sung-soo named in Inven pieces. Follow the game account for trailers; follow studio posts if you care about booth schedules. This wiki does not scrape Discord invite URLs into the article body because they rot. Use the button on worldofsli.me.
YouTube’s official channel is 슬라임의 세계 (@worldofslime_official). The Korean demo trailer (nx13IwoF5cU) is theirs. English gameplay reuploads such as the GameTrailers copy of the July trailer exist for players who want commentary-free EN audio. Prefer the official channel when you need to know whether a clip is current.
What the community is for (and not for)
Use Discord to find a 3v3 trio and to share spawn notes (weather, clock, biome) that belong in your Slimepedia. Use Steam discussions for installer errors. Do not use either as a codes dump until TEAM42 actually ships codes — the codes hub is empty on purpose. Do not download “World of Slime scripts” from random sites; this is not a Roblox title. There is no official public Trello; Steam News and Discord via worldofsli.me are the boards that exist.
Offline events still matter. PlayX4 in May 2026 at KINTEX put a Synthesis Lab and a collection tournament on the floor. G-STAR Busan in November 2026 is the next promised handshake. Those dates live on the events page so this community page can stay a directory.
How this wiki fits
We localise guides in English, French, German, and Spanish. We are not the Korean community hub; we will not pretend a Paris or Berlin Discord is official. If TEAM42 opens regional servers, they will be linked from here after they appear on worldofsli.me or Steam News. Until then, Explorer on the official Discord plus a Steam wishlist is the whole civic duty of a pre-launch player.
