Demo Update — August 2026
The public demo launched in August 2026. This is the first public build and the only demo currently available. The demo includes the first major area, approximately 30 slime species, the full capture and synthesis systems, fishing, and co-op multiplayer. The demo does not have a specific end state — players can explore the available content freely until the full game launches.
Full Launch Roadmap — Q4 2026
The full launch in Q4 2026 will add: the three remaining major areas, approximately 70 additional slime species, the complete NPC questline spanning five chapters, ranked PvP with seasonal leaderboards, the endgame raid system for cooperative groups, mobile versions for iOS and Android, and full cross-platform progression through Steam accounts.
Post-Launch Plans
TEAM42 has outlined an aggressive post-launch content schedule: seasonal updates every two weeks, new slime species added monthly for at least the first six months, major expansion areas releasing quarterly, and community events tied to real-world holidays. All post-launch content additions are free for base game owners. Cosmetic microtransactions fund the ongoing development.
